Hitting start!

There’s always a first time, and rightly so, ISA has now decided to do a digital newsletter!

As the apex body of advertisers in India, we stand committed to keeping our cohorts informed about what’s trending in our world. And hence, we're turning a fresh page with a quarterly newsletter.

The objective of this newsletter is to continue to pick up issues of interest for advertisers and provide a point of view on current industry matters.

Additionally, we also intend to provide you with leadership learnings from industry honchos of specific domains.

Now, to kick start this, what better topic than one which has surmounted stereotypes of triviality to become one of major interest to both, brands and advertisers?

Here's to the buzzword we're hearing of so often - GAMING!

In 2021, the gaming industry generated revenues worth USD 200 billion and is poised to grow at USD 340 billion by 2027, registering a CAGR of 9% over 2022-2027. The industry is involved in the development, marketing and monetisation of video games. It’s also considered to be one of the most exciting industries in tech because of its importance to culture, entertainment and technological advancement. PC, console and mobile gaming companies are using their latest technology, making their games accessible to over two billion people all over the globe.

In this newsletter, you'll hear from Tejas Apte, General Manager - Media, South Asia for Hindustan Unilever, who gives his insights on how marketers can make the most of the possibilities that exist in the gaming industry and how to best leverage this new industry.
